Hello! Today’s post I wanted to show you guys this double braided bun hairstyle that I found on Pinterest. It’s super easy and I think it’s a perfect look for summer. I definitely like to try and keep my hair out of my face during the summertime, especially here because it gets so humid.

Step 1:

First you want to create a half pony more on the top of your head and then a second one right below that. Make sure that both pony tails have about the same amount of hair in them so your braided buns will be even. Then you’re going to braid both of the half pony tails and then pull apart the braids to flatten them out.

Step 2:

Next, you’re going to take the top braid and then wrap it into a bun and pin it with some bobby pins on all four sides so it stays secure. You’re then going to repeat the process for the bottom braid as well. You can then also curl the rest of your hair to give it some texture. I did that with mine, but since it’s been so humid, the curls kind of just fell but you get the idea.

This is then what the final product will look like. I tried to add a little volume to the bottom of my hair but it didn’t work as well as I wanted it to, but oh well.
